Sagittarius Traits:

Sagittarius is the ninth astrological sign of the zodiac, those who fall under this sign are optimistic, funny, smart, honest and fair-minded. They are spontaneous and fun and typically very social always surrounded by friends. Always the conversationalist of the group and a great communicator, Sagittarian’s inspire people around them to live their best lives. Although they are typically not alone, People under this sign are extremely independent, if they see something the group opposes to they will go for it even if it means being alone as they crave the freedom of making their own decisions. Their quick on their feet and able to quickly adapt to any type of situation. Sophisticated and intelligent Sagittarian’s are amazing artists and entrepreneurs always hitting their target. People born under this are searching spiritual souls and typically get very in depth and philosophical about anything they are passionate about. 

Like all the astrological signs, Sagittarian’s have some negative traits, the one that comes to most peoples minds when thinking of this subject would be that they can be impatient and careless. When they are doing a task they like a fast consistent pace of doing it, if someone or something gets in theirs way of doing so they will sometimes leave the task part done or sloppily finish it. Those born under this sign can be boastful and attention seeking. Craving praise for every little thing they do and if they do not receive the amount of praise they wanted they will praise themselves in front of overs coming across extremely conceded. 

Sagittarius Myth:

In greek mythology the sagittarius constellation is associated with the story of Chiron,  an immortal centaur whom lived upon Mount Pelion. Unlike most centaurs Chiron was brave, kind and smart, he also acted as a teacher to many greek hero's including Hercules, Jason and Achilles. Hercules was a dear friend to Chiron, one day they are sharing some wine together and Chiron accidentally drinks the blood of the hydra Hercules had defeated. Chiron was poisoned and forced to leave his home on Mount Pelion to regain his immortality. While searching far and wide across ancient Greece Chiron ran into Zeus, the god of the sky, who offered to place him into the ask to be an immortal constellation. Zeus allowed Chiron to die, then placed him in the heavens as the sagittarius constellation.
